CORPUS CHRISTI - The owner of the Xtreme Cutz reported to police around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning that the front window of her business in the 5100 block of Kosoryz was kicked in by suspect(s) unknown.
The offender(s) located the cash register and threw it to the floor to open it, then stole an undetermined amount of money.
No other property was taken or damaged.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 42-year-old woman reported to police that she was lying in bed in her home in the 7000 block of Premont Drive around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon when she heard the screen on her bedroom window being torn.
An Hispanic male then opened the window and stuck his head inside as he tried to gain entry.
The woman yelled at him and he ran away.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 37-year-old man told officers that when he returned to his home in the 3700 block of Dalraida Drive shortly after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, his house alarm was sounding off.
He then saw a man walk out of his residence carrying a black case containing 60 CD's and a jar of coins.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, witnesses reported that a speeding 1999 Chevy Silverado pickup truck struck two parked cars in the 3200 block of Morgan and then sped away, but came to a stop a short distance away.
The driver of the pickup truck, 31-year-old Juan Luis Hernandez, appeared intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
He refused to submit to field sobriety tests.
