CORPUS CHRISTI - Officers responded to a major accident in the 15000 block of Windward around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday night, where a 2004 GMC Canyon Pickup struck a legally parked 1999 Ford Explorer.

Witnesses reported that there were four people in the vehicle but one of the passengers fled on foot prior to officers' arrival.

The occupants of the pickup were all from the Houston area, here for Spring Break.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Officers responding to a rollover accident in the 14300 block of S.P.I.D. shortly after 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning discovered that a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup driven by 25-year-old Adam Ersepke had drifted to the outside shoulder, overcompensated and skidded into the inside shoulder.

The truck then rolled onto its right side.

There were no major injuries to Ersepke or his two passengers.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Two CCPD officers observed a white Cadillac traveling at high rate of speed southbound on S. Staples crossing Saratoga Blvd. around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.

They attempted to catch up to the car and as they caught up, it made a U-turn and started traveling north.

They conducted a traffic stop in the 7500 block of S. Staples and contacted the driver, 33-year-old Richard Dean, who appeared intoxicated.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A CCPD officer stopped a 1995 Chevrolet pickup in the parking lot of the Burger King in the 300 block of IH-37 around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday morning after he saw the truck spinning its tires at a nearby traffic light.

The driver, 34-year-old Joe Herrera, refused to turn the engine off and exit the truck.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 22-year-old female convenience store clerk reported she had been robbed around 5:25 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The woman told officers that a white male, approximately 5' 5" tall with a medium build, wearing a blue and white bandana on his head, along with a black hooded sweatshirt and black shorts, came into the store in the 1500 block of S.P.I.D. wielding a wrench and threatened her.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Officers responding to Cheetah's Night Club in the 6400 block of S.P.I.D. around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning found Roberto Flores, 27, with a gunshot wound to his lower abdomen and thigh.

Witnesses stated a group of individuals were involved in a disturbance inside the club with another group.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 31-year-old man told police he gave a man a ride around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, but told the man he first had to stop at a car wash in the 700 block of Nueces Bay Blvd. to clean his car.

The victim stated the suspect came around to the driver's side, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his car keys.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A CCPD officer responding to an assault in the 4300 block of Leonard Drive around 7:40 p.m. Saturday night received information the man involved in the altercation had fled on a red Dodge Neon.

Enroute to the assault victim's location, the officer spotted the Neon and conducted a traffic stop.
