CORPSU CHRISTI - Though police have their hands full dealing with drinking and partying, they're also on the lookout for Spring Breaker's furry friends.

According to police, the stretch of beach between Access Road 3 and Zahn Road is off limits to your dog, leash or not.

Spring Breaker Attacked by Group Play Video

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A man in town for Spring Break was attacked by a group of men last night.

Police say the man was from Houston and was walking back to his hotel from a bar, when a group of four men asked him for directions and then jumped him before running off.

Police say the attack was called in as a stabbing but they couldn't find any stab wounds on his body. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police say a driver was texting and not paying attention, when he drifted off the road and ran into a fire hydrant last night.

It happened on Everhart and SPID. Police had to shut down one lane on the access road for two and a half hours until they could shut off the water. The driver wasn't injured and there was minimal damage to his vehicle. But police say he will be cited for failure to control his vehicle.

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A driver was arrested last night after running into the back of another vehicle, sending the victim to the hospital.

Police say a 22 year old driver in a white truck was speeding on 286 North near the 358 exit, when he slammed into another white truck and then rolled over. The driver of the other vehicle was an off duty CCISD guard and he was taken to the hospital to be treated for severe back pain

CORPUS CHRISTI - A car smashed into an apartment off of Treyway lane around 2 a.m. Saturday.

"Apparently the driver has been drinking. At the beginning he tried to say he wasn't driving even though he did admit he was alone in the so it kind of confused us for a little bit as far as what was going on," said Lt. Nicholas Kless with the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Traffic Stop Leads Officers To Drug Bust Play Video

DRISCOLL - Driscoll police found over 15 pounds of marijuana in a car during a simple traffic stop.

Driscoll police say that they seized somewhere between 15 to 20 pounds of marijuana after conducting a traffic stop off of Highway 77 and County Road 665.

Police pulled over a 1999 Chevy Camaro at a nearby Stripes off of the highway around 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

The driver was taken into custody on felony possession charges and his car was impounded.

CORPUS CHRISTI- High pressure has dug in, that means clear skies and warm temperatures both Saturday and Sunday. As a matter of fact, this will be one of the best Spring Break weekends I've ever seen in South Texas.

Drug Feud Erupts Into Violence

CORPUS CHRISTI - What started as a small dispute over some drug money has finally erupted into violence, landing one teen in jail and the other in the hospital.

High pressure will settle over the area tonight then move slowly eastward over the weekend. Moisture will slowly increase on Sunday along with wind off the water so Saturday will be the best day of the weekend but Sunday will still be very nice all things considered. CORPUS CHRISTI - One lawsuit has caused the city to stop demolition after a Travis County judge granted a restraining order asking for the delay.

The city received word of a temporary restraining order that was granted late Friday afternoon. The order will halt the demolition of the Memorial Coliseum.

"This is something that we are going to have to continue to watch. It is just another delay with the saga of the coliseum," said Kevin Kieschnick, one of the city councilmen.

NUECES COUNTY -- The Nueces County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the murder of an elderly man, who was found in the Clarkwood area.

Rafael Gonzales' body was found in December, but there still have been no arrests in this case.

Investigators say Gonzales was beaten to death and then dumped off an overpass out on Clarkwood at Old Brownsville Road.

The victim's truck, which had been stolen, was later found at a south side apartment complex.

78-year-old Miguel Bayardo was found robbed and beaten at a car wash last November and he died in a hospital two weeks later.

CORPUS CHRISTI- Former candidates for Justice of the Peace precinct one, place one, are standing behind their former opponent in the runoff election.

Candidate Joe Benavides will be in a run off election against fellow democrat Bea Molina.

Today, Ray Madrigal, Nick Adame and Larry Young announced their endorsement for Benavides. Early voting for the primary runoffs begins April 5th.

The run off elections will be held on Tuesday, April 13th.
